This 40-hour course provides you with the knowledge and skills to complete the American Red Cross lifeguard course (r.17). This course covers the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard and how to carry them out in a professional manner, rescues, first aid, CPR/AED and practical skills.
To earn your Red Cross certification you must be 15+ years old and able to pass a standardized swim test*. Certification exam and skills testing are offered upon completion of the course. Register at the service desk and receive course information and syllabus.
